Hit the ground running in one of two temporary HR Coordinator roles, to support a busy ER team

About the role
We are seeking two organised and detail-focused HR Coordinators with who can quickly get up to speed and provide practical ER support to the team.
Working alongside experienced advisors and managers, you will help manage incoming enquiries, coordinate employee relations matters and maintain accurate, confidential documentation.
These temporary assignments commence on 12 October 2026 and run through to the end of March 2027, working onsite in East Melbourne.
Key responsibilities
You will triage incoming employee relations enquiries and provide first-level guidance on matters such as leave, classifications, pay and workplace policies, escalating queries where required.
You will also coordinate meetings, prepare correspondence and documentation, maintain confidential case files and meeting notes, and track case milestones. Other responsibilities include updating templates and guidance materials, liaising with school leaders and internal stakeholders, and supporting employee relations projects.
About you
You’ll bring previous experience supporting employee relations matters, strong administrative skills and excellent attention to detail. Confident managing competing priorities, you can quickly pick up processes and contribute to a busy team.
You communicate professionally, build effective stakeholder relationships and handle sensitive information with discretion. You are comfortable working within established policies and procedures and recognising when matters require escalation.
A completed or near-completed tertiary qualification in Industrial Relations, HR, Law, Business or a relevant field is required.
