The Opportunity
There is currently a vacancy for an experienced People Partner to join the People & Culture team on a 12-month fixed term contract, partnering closely with leaders across a broad range of strategic and operational people matters.
Working as part of the collaborative People Experience team, you'll partner with leaders across the organisation to provide strategic and hands-on HR support in a true business partnering role. Operate confidently across complex employee relations matters, organisational change, workforce planning and leadership coaching, while balancing multiple priorities in a dynamic and diverse environment. You’ll also contribute to broader people initiatives and projects designed to enhance capability, engagement and organisational performance.
Key Responsibilities include: - Partnering with leaders to provide trusted advice across a broad range of people matters
- Managing complex employee relations issues including performance management, misconduct, grievances, investigations and conflict resolution
- Supporting workforce planning, organisational design and talent initiatives
- Coaching and guiding leaders to build capability and drive best practice people outcomes
- Contributing to change management and organisational improvement initiatives
- Interpreting employment legislation, awards, policies and HR frameworks to ensure compliance and mitigate risk
- Collaborating across the wider People & Culture function on strategic projects and initiatives
- Using workforce insights and HR metrics to support recommendations and decision making
Skills and ExperienceWe're looking for a confident and pragmatic HR professional with strong business partnering capability, who can easily build relationships and trust across all levels of an organisation. You'll need proven experience in an HR Business Partner/People Partner role and will have strong employee relations capability, experience managing complex people matters, excellent stakeholder influencing skills, and the ability to work effectively across multiple priorities. A sound understanding of employment legislation, awards and HR best practice is essential, and experience supporting organisational change, workforce planning and capability initiatives will be highly advantageous.
