The Opportunity
Reporting to the Accreditation Manager, you will play an important role in supporting accreditation services delivered to physiotherapy education providers across Australia.
You’ll assist in coordinating accreditation and monitoring processes, support committee operations, contribute to policy and reporting documentation, and help manage key stakeholder relationships across universities and regulatory bodies.
This is a varied role that blends project coordination, stakeholder engagement and administrative support within a supportive, hybrid working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with accreditation and re-accreditation processes for allocated education providers, including participation in site visits when required
- Support accreditation monitoring activities, including liaising with providers and collating documentation for Accreditation Panel review
- Assist in the development of accreditation documentation including policies, procedures, training materials, quality assurance and risk management tools
- Coordinate internal and external projects relating to accreditation services
- Provide administrative support to the Accreditation Committee, including preparing agendas and recording meeting minutes
- Coordinate meetings, training sessions and travel related to accreditation activities
- Manage accreditation enquiries and assist with compliance requirements
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Contribute to the organisation’s internal work plan and broader accreditation initiatives
Skills & Experience - Minimum 3 years’ experience in an administrative or coordination role
- Experience within the health, education, accreditation or regulatory sector highly regarded
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience coordinating projects and supporting committees or governance processes
- Ability to work independently within a hybrid environment
- Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders, academics, board members and external agencies

About the Organisation The Australian Physiotherapy Council is a not-for-profit, for-purpose organisation responsible for accrediting entry-level physiotherapy programs delivered in Australia, under the National Registration and Accreditation Scheme (NRAS).
The Council also assesses internationally qualified physiotherapists seeking to practise in Australia and operates as the accrediting authority under the authority of the Physiotherapy Board of Australia (Ahpra).
