A leading education-based organisation is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented People Advisor to join their collaborative People Experience team. In this role, you’ll lead the refresh of job descriptions, conduct market benchmarking, and contribute to generalist HR initiatives that drive workforce planning, compliance, and employee engagement.

About the Role
Reporting to the Manager – People Partnering, the People Coordinator/Advisor will work alongside experienced HR professionals to deliver impactful, best-practice support across the employee lifecycle. Your key focus will include:

• Redesigning and updating position descriptions to reflect evolving roles, responsibilities, and organisational goals
• Managing reports, extracting data and mail merge using Microsoft products
• Manage HR inbox, handling and directing queries
• Updating organisational structures
• Assisting with ongoing project work
• Supporting a range of generalist HR advisory activities

 
You’ll bring strong communication and stakeholder management skills and be comfortable working autonomously while contributing to team goals.

About You
To be successful in this role, you’ll demonstrate:

• Proven HR coordination/advisory experience across a diverse range of generalist areas
• Solid knowledge of job evaluation, salary benchmarking, and position description frameworks
• Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
• A collaborative, service-oriented approach and the ability to build trusted relationships
• Tertiary qualifications in HR or a related field
