The Company
Our client is an ASX listed Australian group of businesses with over 50 facilities operating across 6 countries. With a clear purpose, a strong commercial mindset and a deeply people-centred culture, the modern head-office is located on the city fringe with on-site parking and a gym. The CEO is down-to-earth, values humility and collaboration, and is looking for a true business partner with a modern mindset, who can help him execute an ambitious growth strategy.
The Role
This is not a traditional EA role. You'll have a genuine seat at the table—acting as a connector, problem-solver, advisor and conduit between the CEO and a diverse group of stakeholders including investors, divisional leadership, and the senior team. If you thrive in an agile, fast-paced environment and enjoy influencing, anticipating needs, and helping a business run at its best, this is a role with real scope, trust, and visibility.
In this pivotal role, you will:
- Partner with the CEO to support strategic and operational priorities across the Group
- Act as a trusted advisor, representing the CEO across internal and external stakeholders
- Coordinate high-level communications, briefing materials, and involvement in key projects
- Support investor relations activity and prepare reports, papers and presentations (Powerpoint a must)
- Manage complex calendars, travel, planning cycles and leadership forums
- Maintain systems, processes and rhythms that ensure the business operates smoothly
- Plan and execute leadership events, Roadshows, offsites and key business meetings
- Serve as an early identifier of issues, risks, priorities and opportunities
- Ensure alignment between the CEO’s focus areas and broader organisational objectives
About You
This role suits someone who loves being at the heart of the action, who can switch effortlessly between strategic conversations and hands-on execution, and who takes pride in enabling a CEO and leadership team to perform at their best. We're looking for someone who brings both
high IQ and
exceptional EQ and combines executive-level acumen with warmth, professionalism and pragmatism. Having supported a senior leader within an ASX environment or similar, you'll have strong critical thinking, the ability to make sound decisions in ambiguous or fast-moving situations and will be able to 'read the play’ and proactively solve problems.
If you’re a high-calibre EA or Chief of Staff who wants to be
involved, influence and add value—we’d love to hear from you. Please forward your resume asap!
