The Role
Working in the Procedure Centre, you’ll be at the heart of patient care. This is a busy, varied role where no two days are the same. One moment you’ll be welcoming patients with warmth and professionalism; the next, you’ll be coordinating theatre schedules, liaising with nursing staff, and ensuring all paperwork and records are accurate and up to date. On-site Monday to Friday, 9-5pm.
A Snapshot of Your Day
- Accurately and efficiently scheduling patients for theatre
- Liaising with the Nursing Team and Doctors’ secretaries
- Assisting at reception, answering calls, and directing queries
- Preparing admission and discharge paperwork
- Conducting follow-up and reminder calls
- Maintaining patient records in the management system (FYDO)
- Processing payments, invoicing, and health fund checks
- Collaborating with colleagues across different departments
About You
We’re looking for someone who brings professionalism and heart to their work. You’ll have proven administration and customer service experience (medical exp preferred), along with strong communication, a warm, empathetic manner, and solid Microsoft Word/Excel skills. Experience in theatre scheduling is highly regarded, but what matters most is your maturity, stability, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, where accuracy, efficiency and compassion go hand in hand.
