Our client is responsible for the governance and operation of over 300 independent schools across Melbourne. With the students at the heart of everything they do, this is a passionate, supportive, knowledge rich community that ensures their schools are well positioned to provide deep and varied learning experiences.
  
Located in Victoria Parade East Melbourne there is opportunity for some flexibility to work from home 2 days per week.
  
The Role and Responsibilities
Provide accurate and compliant support for:-

• Onboarding new employees and enter variations to employment records
• Processing of employment variations for existing employees
• Facilitating employee record management processes for offboarding
• Validation and registration of essential employment documentation and certifications
• Prepare employment contracts and documentation for employees
• Work with Payroll to ensure compliance and the smooth delivery of payroll
• Refer employee queries to appropriate teams
• Work with IT to escalate and resolve any employee queries
• General adhoc administration

Experience and Skills
This role will suit a self-motivated and confident HR professional with experience in a similar role within a large organisation. Excellent communication, ability to prioritise and work in a team environment is essential.
