As our Hunter New England and regional NSW portfolio continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Senior Contracts Administrator to join our Newcastle office and play a key role in delivering impactful projects close to home.

The Opportunity

You'll be supported by an experienced and collaborative Commercial Leadership Team, while taking ownership of end-to-end subcontractor contract administration on a project.
 
Responsibilities include:

• Head contract and cost management
• Establishing project management plans aligned to head contract risks and opportunities
• Preparation and management of subcontractor packages, scopes, lettings and procurement schedules across multiple trades
• Assessment of progress claims and variations
• Demonstrated understanding of construction methodology, sequencing and value-driven outcomes (materials and services)
• Cost and project reporting via CHEOPS and Aconex (training provided)

What We're Looking For

• Strong construction/commercial management experience managing head and subcontractor contracts on medium to large building projects
• Senior or aspiring Senior Contracts Administrator with proven experience leading trade packages
• Industry-relevant tertiary qualification
• Solid understanding of Contract Law principles and construction-specific Acts, codes and regulations
• Confident, collaborative communicator
• Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and drive outcomes
• Process- and systems-focused mindset
