The Project: We’re delivering the
Cowra Hospital Redevelopment, in partnership with Health Infrastructure and the Western NSW Local Health District. This critical project will provide:
- Upgraded inpatient services and contemporary clinical facilities
- Cowra’s first CT scanner
- New car parking, landscaping, and demolition of the existing hospital
This is a key regional healthcare project that will enhance service delivery for years to come.
Your Role: As
WHS&E Advisor, you’ll be a key driver of safety culture on site. You’ll collaborate with our construction and project teams to ensure WHS compliance, champion best practices, and help foster a strong, proactive safety culture.
Responsibilities include: - Coordinating and implementing WHS&E systems, processes, and practices
- Leading site-based health and safety initiatives
- Providing training and guidance to workers and subcontractors
- Promoting a consultative and positive approach to safety
- Maintaining site records and reporting via HammerTech (training provided)
- Conducting site inspections, investigations, and audits as required
What We’re Looking For: - Previous WHS experience on built form or infrastructure projects
- Relevant WHS qualifications or certifications
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to influence and promote safe behaviours at all levels
- Strong computer/system skills and attention to detail
- A proactive, solution-focused mindset
- Based in (or open to relocating to) Cowra – Living Away From Home Allowance can be discussed
