Job Title: Software Team Lead
Salary on offer: £80,000-£85,000
Location: Manchester 2x a week

Are you a passionate, hands-on developer ready to step up and lead a talented team? We're looking for a Software Team Lead to drive the development of cutting-edge web applications and services using modern technologies like TypeScript, React, and Go (Golang).

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and mentor a team of skilled developers, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and high performance
• Drive the delivery of high-quality, scalable software solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and QA engineers
• Remain actively hands-on with code, contributing to architecture, development, and code reviews
• Support planning, estimation, and delivery of projects using Agile methodologies

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience leading a team or squad of software developers
• Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills
• Deep experience with TypeScript, React, HTML5, and CSS3
• Proficiency with backend development in Go (Golang)
• A passion for clean code, modern software practices, and delivering value through technology
• Experience in Agile environments and working closely with product teams

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to DevOps practices or cloud platforms
• Experience with testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines
