About the Project:

We’re recruiting on behalf of a nationally recognised civil contractor specialising in (FRP) delivery on major infrastructure projects. With a strong reputation across rail and civil construction, they’ve secured a 14-month project based at Luddenham Station and are now seeking a skilled Concrete Supervisor to join the delivery team immediately.

The Role: As the Concrete Works Supervisor, you’ll play a critical role in the safe and timely delivery of large-scale concrete structures across the project. This includes overseeing all phases of FRP works, managing crews on the ground, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring all works are delivered to spec, on time, and in line with safety and quality standards.

You’ll be working closely with Project Engineers and Site Managers to plan daily activities, identify and resolve site issues, and ensure strong team communication throughout the lifecycle of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day concrete works including formwork, reinforcement, and pours
• Lead site crews to achieve safety, quality, and productivity targets
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and construction programs
• Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and project team members
• Ensure compliance with all safety and rail-specific regulations
• Maintain accurate daily records and site documentation
• Proactively identify risks or delays and provide practical solutions

About You:

• Proven experience supervising concrete or FRP works on civil infrastructure projects
• Rail experience highly regarded but not essential
• Ability to manage high-performing crews and subcontractors
• Strong understanding of safety, quality, and environmental protocols
• Confident in reading technical drawings and coordinating works to program
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
