About the Role:
Step into a vital Project Administrator role in Southern Sydney, where you’ll drive the success of business, project, and team outcomes. Working closely with the General Manager, you’ll provide high-level administrative support, streamline daily office operations, and empower a talented engineering team. Success demands initiative, precision, and a proactive mindset to prioritise tasks, solve problems, and deliver exceptional support in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver administrative support to achieve business, project, and team priorities, ensuring seamless operations.
- Maintain and enhance business frameworks, registers, systems, databases, and processes for continuous improvement.
- Prepare and present reports, analyses, and documents (e.g., letters, reports, minutes) using corporate templates.
- Manage financial processes, including purchase orders, invoices, reimbursements, and reconciliations for accurate records.
- Support document control, data management, stakeholder communications, and project scheduling.
- Oversee office systems, including stationery orders, call handling, email responses, and minute-taking.
- Coordinate diaries, appointments, meeting rooms, and both internal and external events.
- Provide secretarial and ad-hoc administrative support to the management team, adapting to diverse tasks.
About You: - Experience in an engineering or construction environment is desired
- Proven experience in a business or project support role, with strong customer service and communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organisational, and analytical skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Ability to take initiative, resolve routine issues independently, and adapt to competing priorities.
- Proficiency in document management and maintaining accurate systems/databases to support decision-making.
- Positive, flexible attitude with a willingness to learn technical and business skills.
- Project management qualification or equivalent experience is advantageous
