Infrastructure People are partnering with a diversified services company that deliver design & construction services to multiple sectors. Due to a number of recent and projected wins in the Defence space, they are currently seeking a Bid Manager to join the business based out of the NT Head Office in Darwin.

 Your responsibilities will include:
  
Reporting into the Estimating & Procurement Manager and the General Manager, the Bid Manager will be responsible for the bid management process and leading the bid team for allocated tenders (both building and civil). The Bid Manager will manage the development of bids/tenders submitted to the clients on behalf of the organisation to ensure a high level of success in being awarded the tender. This role will ensures that the tenders are developed to a consistently high standard, meeting the expectations of the organisation.
  
To be considered for the role you will have:

• Formal or informal tertiary education in Building Construction or Engineering
• Australian Drivers’ License.
• A minimum of 5 years experience in the building or civil construction industry, or related industry experience with a demonstrated success in delivering to financial targets, timeframes, planning and logistics management.
• Proven experience leading successful bids/tenders using best practices approaches
• Demonstrated experience in managing a team
• Experience in negotiation and client relationship building accompanied with a sound understanding of contract management and cost optimisation
• Defence bid/tendering experience desirable
