Project Manager - Cut and Carve, London, up to £95k
 
Job Overview:
As a Project Manager, you will oversee complex cut and carve projects, managing structural alterations, temporary works, and refurbishments. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
 
Key Responsibilities of the Project Manager:
 
 

•  Lead cut and carve projects from pre-construction to handover.
• Manage site teams, subcontractors, and client relationships.
• Oversee temporary works coordination and structural sequencing.
• Ensure health and safety compliance and promote a proactive site culture.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and risk management.
• Liaise with structural engineers, designers, and stakeholders.
• Provide technical expertise in complex inner-city refurbishment projects.

• Minimum 2 years’ experience managing cut and carve or structural alteration projects.
• Strong background with a main contractor or specialist subcontractor in complex refurbishments.
• Experience in temporary works coordination and site logistics.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ideally degree-educated in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Certifications such as SMSTS, First Aid, and Temporary Works are preferred
