Junior Creative Designer - Workplace Interiors
Location: Berkshire
Salary: £35,000-£40,000, depending on experience
 
An established workplace design and build company is seeking a Junior Creative Designer to join its Berkshire team.
This opportunity would suit a creative designer with existing workplace interiors experience who is keen to develop their skills and contribute ideas across a variety of commercial office projects.
 
The Role
Working alongside experienced designers, you'll support the development of workplace concepts, helping translate client briefs into considered, engaging spaces.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting concept design, space planning and design development.
• Preparing mood boards, material palettes and client presentations.
• Developing furniture, finishes and lighting proposals.
• Producing drawings and visuals to communicate design ideas.
• Working with technical and delivery teams to develop practical design solutions.
• Attending client meetings, supplier visits and site visits as required.

About You

• Previous experience in workplace or commercial office interior design is essential.
• A portfolio demonstrating creative thinking, space planning and strong presentation skills.
• An understanding of how workplace layouts support different activities and ways of working.
• A good eye for materials, colour, furniture and detail.
• A proactive approach, clear communication skills and a willingness to learn.
• The ability to manage priorities and contribute positively within a team.
• Revit experience would be a bonus, but is not essential.
