Mid-weight Creative Designer

Choose Your Path: Consultancy or Design & Build?
We are currently representing two distinct and highly respected clients in the London workplace sector. We are looking for two talented Mid-weight Designers to fill two separate roles, each offering a unique approach to design:

1. The Consultancy Role: Ideal for a designer who loves strategy, deep-dive concepts, and architectural detail. You will focus on long-term client partnerships and highly crafted, bespoke workplace solutions.
2. The Design & Build (D&B) Role: Perfect for a designer who thrives on pace, commercial agility, and seeing projects come to life. You'll work closely with pre-contracts and project managers to deliver high-impact results with efficiency.

The Role: From Concept to Pitch
 
Regardless of the route you choose, both roles are designed for ambitious creatives ready to transition from supporting roles into true design ownership.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Design: Take projects from initial brief through to delivery, ensuring creative excellence throughout.
• Own the Room: Actively participate in client presentations. We are looking for designers who can "pitch" their ideas with confidence and infectious enthusiasm.
• Visual Storytelling: Create impactful mood boards, finishes, and 3D visualizations that translate a client's brand into a physical space.
• Technical Coordination: Use Revit and SketchUp to produce accurate drawing packages and communicate complex ideas clearly.
• Collaboration: Work alongside Directors and technical teams to ensure designs stay within budget and on schedule.

Candidate Profile
We are looking for designers with a "can-do" attitude and a portfolio that showcases both imagination and technical logic.

• Experience: 3-5 years in a commercial interior design environment (UK-based projects preferred).
• Software Toolkit: Proficient in Revit and SketchUp. High literacy in Adobe InDesign and Photoshop is essential.
• Communication: A natural communicator who is comfortable presenting to clients and defending design decisions.
• Adaptability: Whether it's the strategic pace of a consultancy or the fast-track nature of D&B, you should be proactive and highly organized.
• Education: Degree in Interior Design or a related field.
