Position: FF&E Designer / Buyer
Location: London
Office Hours: 5 days in the office with some flexibility options
Salary: £30-£40,000 per annum.

The Design Team
Join a vibrant in-house design team working on iconic and highly creative projects from concept to completion. With new openings planned in seven countries over the next three years, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the company's expansion and grow professionally.
 
Experience Required

• 3+ years of experience in hospitality, residential design, or a similar relevant field.

 
Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Lead Senior Interior Designers and FF&E Associates to present strong, unique design concepts through mood boards and standout FF&E suggestions.
• Source and research the best suppliers and materials for each project, building strong relationships and finding unique design elements.
• Exhibit knowledge and passion for design, art, and materials across different eras, regions, and trends.
• Create highly detailed and accurate FF&E schedules, showcasing furniture, curtains, lighting, artwork, and accessories.
• Coordinate all FF&E procurement, ensuring adherence to budgets, timelines, and technical requirements.
• Oversee FF&E deliveries and installations, including a working knowledge of shipping logistics.
• Attend overseas site visits and meet suppliers.
• Manage global project installations, including dressing and styling.

 
Skills and Abilities

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and InDesign).
• Highly proficient in Excel.
• Desirable: Freehand sketching or knowledge of SketchUp.
• Desirable: Basic level of AutoCAD.
• Exceptional eye for color, texture, finish, and fittings that create visually stunning interiors.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong individual and team collaboration skills.
• Pragmatic problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Self-starter with good initiative and ability to follow instructions.
