The Role:
Please note, this role will cover South/South East Metro and Regional areas.
As a Mobile Lending Manager, you will maintain and grow the BankVic brand through building relationships with key contacts and being actively involved with the BankVic community. You will ensure our members are always first priority and experience high levels of customer service through regular follow-up and meeting them at mutually requested time and location.
This role requires work to be performed outside of normal office hours and travel to regional areas.
Key responsibilities:
- Liaising with all key contacts with your designated region, including conducting regular visits and presentation programs.
- Provide ongoing education and financial literacy.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial products in the broader financial services market.
- Manage lending appointments, enquiries, applications, referrals and follow ups in a timely manner.
- Process loan approvals and manage the loan through to settlement.
- Support and liaise with the regional branch network to provide a seamless service to members.
- Active involvement with local communities and member charities to support BankVic build new opportunities and relationships.
To be successful in this role, you will have: - RG146 Tier 2 Certification or be prepared to undertake such training.
- Good knowledge of the financial services regulatory framework, including AFSL and ACL obligations and Privacy legislation.
- Knowledge and understanding of lending procedures including adherence to responsible lending under the NCCP Act.
- An ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders.
- Knowledge and understanding of lending processes from application to settlement and of financial services products and systems.
- Demonstrated experience in a business development role.
- Experience in providing presentations to individuals and groups.
- Excellent customer centric attitude and proven ability to build rapport.
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets.
- A high level of compliance and experience working in a highly regulated environment.
- Hold a current Victorian car licence.
