14/7 Roster | Immediate Start | Competitive Rates | Initial 3 month Contract (with planned resumption in 2026)
 
Talent Source HR & Recruitment Solutions is partnering exclusively with SERP Recruitment to deliver experienced Plant Operators for our client, a well-established mining and resources company.
 
We are seeking skilled and motivated Plant Operators to join the team at a gold processing plant based in Georgetown, Far North Queensland. These roles are critical in supporting the safe and efficient commissioning and operation of the plant, with an immediate start available.
 
What's on offer:

• 14/7 roster - 12-hour shifts
• Approx. 3-month initial campaign through to November/December 2025
• Planned resumption in March/April 2026 as operations ramp up long-term
• Competitive market rates (ABN contractors preferred, payroll option available)
• Accommodation provided in Georgetown (locals and DIDO strongly encouraged)
• Be part of a small, close-knit team where your input matters

What we're looking for

• Experienced plant/process operators with exposure to gold/CIP or similar processing plants (quarrying, crushing, oil & gas, water treatment, etc.)
• Loader ticket essential, telehandler ticket highly regarded
• Ability to safely monitor and operate plant circuits, conduct sampling, and respond quickly to anomalies
• Strong problem-solving skills, proactive communication, and a team-first attitude
• Must be willing to complete pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol screen, police check, and site VOC on arrival
