Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and mentor internal bookkeeping staff (senior level)
• Prepare end-of-month financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, variance analysis)
• Support and oversee client cashflow forecasting and management
• Implement and improve accounting systems and technology solutions
• Process and manage payroll across multiple entities
• Ensure compliance with BAS, IAS, Superannuation, Payroll Tax, and QRO
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
• Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Collaborate with business owners to deliver meaningful financial insights
• Ensure thorough documentation and strong internal controls
• Support onboarding and implementation for new clients

What You’ll Bring:

• Prior experience in bookkeeping or accounting (senior or intermediate level)
• Strong working knowledge of Xero, Excel, and cloud-based accounting software
• Exceptional attention to detail, organisational and time management skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Proactive problem-solving skills and initiative to improve processes
• Confident communication style with a client-focused approach
• Experience in payroll, reporting, and compliance  

Salary will be negotiated for the right candidates and is dependent on the level of experience and expertise you bring to the role.
