English Language Partners is a not-for-profit, education provider with NZQA Category 1 endorsement. For more than 40 years, we have delivered English language programmes and settlement services to adult migrants and former refugees across Aotearoa New Zealand.

With 21 centres spanning from Whangārei to Invercargill, our dedicated team of 430 staff and 800 volunteers support 8,000 learners each year. Our National Office, based in a great office space on The Terrace in Wellington, serves as our head office.
About the role
This is an opportunity to bring your expertise to a role with real impact. As Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive, you’ll play a central role in supporting the CE and enabling the effectiveness of our National Office.
Working closely with the CE, you’ll provide high-level support, manage competing priorities, and help ensure the organisation runs smoothly. You’ll anticipate needs, exercise sound judgement, and create systems and processes that add value across the organisation.
You’ll also work closely with the Board and Senior Leadership Team, supporting engagement and coordination at the highest levels. This includes preparing and coordinating Board and leadership meetings, managing confidential information, supporting governance processes, and ensuring key actions are followed through.
This is a high-trust, high-output role. You’ll be working across a wide range of stakeholders in a fast-paced environment, managing a significant volume of work and competing priorities. Success in this role requires someone who can work at pace, turn things around quickly, and maintain consistently high standards of accuracy and professionalism. You’ll need to stay organised, think ahead, and remain calm and effective under pressure.

You’re a senior Executive Assistant who is used to operating at pace and delivering at a high standard in complex environments. You bring:
