English Language Partners is a not-for-profit, award-winning education provider with NZQA category 1 endorsement, that has been providing English language programmes and settlement services to adult migrants and former refugees throughout New Zealand for over 40 years.
With 21 centres spanning from Whangārei to Invercargill, our dedicated team of 380 staff and 850 volunteers annually support over 8,000 learners. We are passionate about supporting former refugees and migrants participate successfully in all aspects of life in Aotearoa New Zealand and we are looking for your help to achieve this.
Who you are
You're an experienced administrator who thrives on structure, precision, and making systems work smarter. You enjoy working with data and spreadsheets, and take pride in ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
Confident using IT systems, you're comfortable navigating student or customer management systems or similar platforms, and you're an intermediate Excel user who knows how to make the most of Microsoft Office tools.
You communicate clearly and professionally, with a friendly and approachable style. You bring a strong customer service mindset to everything you do, and you're fluent in both spoken and written English.
You're also someone who values diversity and connection. You have experience supporting people from refugee or migrant backgrounds, or from a range of cultures, and you bring empathy, respect and cultural awareness to your work.
About the role
The Teaching and Learning Administrator ensures the seamless delivery of administrative support to our Teaching and Learning Team. You're the primary point of contact for potential and existing learners at National Office, addressing their inquiries promptly and ensuring they receive accurate information.
Your role extends to supporting centres in maintaining pastoral care information, contributing to Evaluative Self-Assessment activities through the provision of precise data, and providing crucial programme-specific administration, by ensuring that English for Migrants' queries are handled effectively.
This is a permanent part-time position, approximately 25 hours per week, with negotiable days and times within business hours.
