About the role
Volunteering is at the heart of ELP, going back to the foundation of our organisation. As our National Volunteer Advisor you'll occupy a vital position dedicated to shaping and enhancing our volunteer program at both national and regional levels, helping us make the most of the amazing contribution our volunteers make.
Working closely with Centre Managers, Volunteer Coordinators, and the National Office Team you’ll ensure our volunteer program consistently follows best practices throughout the organisation. You work to build skills, encourage teamwork, and create consistent resources and systems while keeping the local flavour that makes each regional programme special.
Your work will include looking after our volunteer communications and helping grow our online volunteer community. You'll use your know-how to attract new volunteers and make sure current ones feel valued and motivated to keep volunteering. A key part of your job will be ensuring volunteers have a safe and positive experience with us.
This role calls for a pragmatic individual who can optimise our volunteer program for the present and future. It's a fantastic chance to make a real difference in a values-driven organisation that changes lives for former refugee and migrant learners.
This is a permanent part-time position, approximately 20 hours per week, with negotiable days and times within business hours.
