UON’s business centres around the design, manufacturing, supply, construction and maintenance of remote, off-grid power and water infrastructure, with many of the products manufactured in UON’s Malaga facility, based on proprietary and patented designs.

As part of our continued growth, UON is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Key Account Manager to join our corporate team based in Malaga, Perth.


About The Opportunity:

The successful applicant will oversee and manage key client relationships, ensuring both existing and new customer bases to grow and deliver measurable outcomes which are aligned with our strategic objectives.

This role requires a strategic approach to account management, leveraging industry expertise and customer-focused sales strategies to drive the growth of UON's New products and services.

Core Responsibilities:

• Building authentic relationships by researching potential customers to gain comprehensive understanding of their needs and how our solutions meet those needs.
• Initiating contact with potential customers, responding to inbound inquiries, engaging with their interests, and utilising their ability to work successfully to benefit from UON solutions.
• Presenting product information to customers once you have identified their needs.
• Managing and maintaining a pipeline of interested prospects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, pre-contracts, operations, marketing) to ensure high-quality bids are produced and client requirements are met.

About You:

• 3+ years’ experience in key account management or business development roles, with a proven track record of managing major accounts and exceeding sales targets.
• Experience working in mining , with a good understanding of the region, key projects, and existing customer networks.
• A bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, business, or a related field is highly desirable.
• Expertise in selling solutions such as renewable energy and battery storage, load bank systems, low-voltage switchboards, off-grid power solutions, dewatering, and pumping systems.
• Strong commitment to customer orientation, with the ability to make commercially sound decisions that benefit both the client and the business.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite executives.
• Ability to manage and influence major accounts across digital and traditional sectors, adapting to the needs of a dynamic, high-growth business.
• A demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
