About The Opportunity:

UON is welcoming applications from experienced and self-motivated Dewatering Technicians on a 2:1 roster to come on board in the New Year. 
The purpose of Dewatering Technician is to install and maintain Water pumps, generators, dewatering trailers, HDPE pipelines and associated valving whilst maintaining a high degree of safety. 

Requirements - Essential: 

• Relevant trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter / Pipe Fitter or a Poly Welding Ticket.
• HDPE / PEHD welding experience.
• A minimum of 2years experience in open mine pit dewatering role.
• Valid Load restraint training (Secure Cargo & Load And Unload Goods/Cargo).
• Wellmaster system Training.
• CoR - Drivers Training

Licenses & Tickets - Essential:

• Current Manual WA HR Class Drivers Licence
• White/Blue Card Construction
• Current Chainsaw certification
• Current High Risk Work Licence – Forklift (LF)
• Current High Risk Work Licence – Dogging (DG)
• Current High Risk Work Licence - CV, C2 or C6 Crane Ticket
• Valid Operating Tickets – Excavator (LE)
• Valid Operating Tickets - IT Loader
