About The Opportunity: 

UON our looking for an experienced Boilermaker / Welder. This position reports to the Fabrication Supervisor, you will be required to cut / fabricate and final weld to supplied drawings, be able to foresee issues and suggest / agree solutions with drawing mark-ups to capture.

The successful applicant will have the experience to work alone or as part of a team. Your quality of work should be right first time (eliminate reworks) and you will be able to maintain a clean / tidy / orderly workspace.



Requirements: 
  

• MUST HAVE minimum 2 years' post trade experience in a similar manufacturing environment, with a good worth ethic and positive attitude
• Relevant TRADE CERTIFICATE recognised in Australia - Engineering Tradesperson Fabrication / Welder
• Experience to be able to pass a weld test consistently to AS/NZS1554 part 1 standards
• Ability to pass a comprehensive pre-employment medical and drug screen
• Can prioritise a large and sometimes varied workload
• Have excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
• Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
