About The Opportunity:
We’re seeking an experienced Site Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team on an ongoing FIFO 8:6 roster. In this pivotal role, you’ll lead the implementation and monitoring of quality systems across construction and engineering projects, ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, and standards. You’ll provide technical guidance, manage inspection and testing activities, and drive continuous improvement in project delivery.
- Develop and maintain the site Quality Management Plan
- Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and standards
- Coordinate Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and manage NCRs and CARs
- Conduct audits of site activities, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Maintain QA documentation, test records, and quality reports
- Review material certificates and test reports
- Prepare weekly/monthly QA reports for stakeholders
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors on QA matters
- Align quality processes with safety and environmental standards
- Support HSE audits with quality-related observations
- Identify process improvement opportunities
- Deliver training and mentoring on QA procedures and best practices

Requirements: - Minimum 10 years’ industry experience in QA or engineering roles
- Experience in construction, engineering, or industrial projects
- Strong understanding of QA systems, ITPs, NCRs, CARs, and audit processes
- Proficiency in QA tools, automation testing, and defect tracking
- Familiarity with project specifications, codes, and standards
- Knowledge of Work Health and Safety (WHS) and environmental compliance
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
