About The Opportunity:
Collaborate with our Energy department and lead the project team in all energy projects activities, ensuring activities are controlled and coordinated to the client’s standard while meeting/exceeding quality, time, safety and profit objectives.
- Ensure appropriate operational, functional and management control processes are in place to achieve project objectives.
- Lead and guide the project team to complete assigned projects in accordance with the contractual documentation, company standards and procedures, including supervising and scheduling project activities.
- Control project programming, cost control, quality control, procurement, contracts administration, supervision, general site administration and the activities of sub-contractors.
- Develop and review construction planning and monitor progress of allocated projects to ensure they are on schedule and within quality and cost estimates.
- Build and sustain relationships with clients, partners, suppliers, consultants, regulators and key community stakeholders to enhance our reputation and optimise our access to work opportunities.
- Monitor the external environment to understand and deliver on commercial opportunities.
- Actively seek opportunities to add value to Clients.
- Assume responsibility for the effective and profitable management of projects of high complexity, or several separate projects as directed.
- Ensure construction activities meet budget requirements and adherence to cost controls.
About You: This opportunity will suit an experienced Project Manager with prior energy / dewatering industry exposure and comprehensive knowledge of estimating, contract management, program financial management, supply chain management, risk and opportunity management, performance reporting, budget preparation and administration, stakeholder management.

Requirements: - Degree in Engineering/Construction or equivalent
- A minimum of 5-year mining industry experiences working in a similar role
- Cert IV in Leadership and Management or equivalent
- Project management qualification (PMP), Certified associate in project management (CAPM), or equivalent experience as a project manager
- Experience in strategic planning, risk management and/or change management
- Experience in mining and resources sector-based water/energy projects.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Contract negotiation with strong knowledge on contract law, OHS legislation and Employment law.
- Conflict resolution experience.
- Success in achieving project tendered margins.
- Proven performance on successful projects exceeding value of $5M+.
- Proven financial, risk, commercial, contractual and human resource management skills.
- Strong proven qualities of leadership, integrity, loyalty and performance management.
