UON’s business centres around the design, manufacturing, supply, construction and maintenance of remote, off-grid power and water infrastructure, with many of the products manufactured in UON’s Malaga facility, based on proprietary and patented designs.

About The Opportunity:

Join UON as an Account Manager and play a pivotal role in driving strategic growth and innovation across our energy solutions portfolio. Reporting to the Manager: Business Development, you’ll lead client engagement efforts, foster long-term partnerships, and help shape the future of sustainable power solutions.

• Develop and manage strategic relationships with key clients to ensure satisfaction and long-term growth.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and client engagement.
• Present tailored solutions that align with client needs, focusing on UON’s energy and infrastructure offerings.
• Maintain a robust pipeline of prospects and coordinate with the Manager, Corporate Development to advance opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, operations, marketing) to deliver high-quality proposals and meet client expectations.

• Ability to multitask and manage more than one client account.
• Ability to promote UON’s services and high-quality methods in a professional manner.
• Ability to build relationships at all levels externally and internally.
• Understand risk and opportunity.
• Exceptional attention to detail and excellent process building skills.

Requirements:  

• Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, business, or related field. Or at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of industry experience working in a similar role - solution selling, with a history of exceeding sales lead targets and consistently hitting deadlines.
• Experience working in dynamic, high growth businesses - you understand the growth agenda and move at a pace to achieve plans and outcomes.
• Experience with CRM software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proven results in delivering client solutions and meeting sales goals.
• In-depth understanding of company key clients and their position in the industry.
• Able to analyse data and sales statistics and translate results into better solutions
