UON’s business centres around the design, manufacturing, supply, construction and maintenance of remote, off-g rid power and water infrastructure, with many of the products manufactured in UON’s Malaga facility, based on proprietary and patented designs.

About The Opportunity: 

• Undertake civil surveys including construction, set-out and audits, as constructed and feature surveys
• Carry out survey calculations, drafting and reports where necessary including the use of any appropriate software to facilitate.
• Manage and control survey documentation to statutory authorities and project guidelines
• Oversee and assist with the management of third part surveying contractors.
• Develop the business surveying capability to meet requirements.
• Training of business personnel in basic survey tasks and equipment.
• Flexibility to work on a Fly in/ Fly out (FIFO) basis as required.

• Good working knowledge of surveying

• Organisational skills

Requirements: 

• 3+ years’ experience.
• Minimum Certificate IV in Surveying.
• Experience with Topcon, Carlson, Pocket 3D or similar highly desirable.
• CAD software experience
• Proficiency in the use of surveying equipment and software.
