UON’s business centres around the design, manufacturing, supply, construction and maintenance of remote, off-grid power and water infrastructure, with many of the products manufactured in UON’s Malaga facility, based on proprietary and patented designs.

UON is currently seeking an entry level Trade Assistant to join our energy team in Malaga. Initially offered on a Casual basis (38h/week) with a view to moving to Fulltime contract for the right candidates.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Supporting tradespeople as required
• Pack Pallets
• Operating of hand and power tools
• Cleaning and preparing worksites/work areas
• Wash and clean generators
• Work autonomously and as part of a team to meet deadlines
• Operate all mobile plant and lifting equipment as and when requested (subject to licensing requirements)

 
Skills & Experience

• Entry level position
• Valid Forklift ticket (preferred)
• Experience working within the power generation industry would be advantageous
• Willing to be hands on
• Team Player who can meet deadlines
