UON is a Western Australian integrated energy company providing turnkey energy and water solutions to the mining sector and beyond.
Due to an extensive upcoming pipeline of works UON is seeking an expression of interest from motivated individuals wishing to join our projects team in the role of Superintendent. 

To be successful in this role we are looking for someone that is passionate about driving growth, mentoring, coaching and managing teams, focused on the health and wellbeing of our people, and partnering with our Project Management team and Clients to ensure strategic excellence on site.

To be successful in this role:

• Trade qualification and/or experience in building and construction related discipline as required
• A minimum of 10 years industry experience working in Supervisory roles.
• Schedule 26 Certificate.
• Certificate IV in Leadership and Management or equivalent preferred.
• White/Blue Card Construction
• Current Manual WA C Class Drivers Licence
• Proven financial, risk, commercial, contractual and human resource management skills
• Strong proven qualities of leadership, integrity, loyalty and performance management
• Proven performance on successful projects with an exemplary safety track record
• Sound and proven ability and knowledge in construction and project execution
• Demonstrated safe delivery of work and commitment to ongoing safety improvement.
• Maintain personal accountability and hold a sound knowledge of UON’s Business Management System including all policies and procedures.
• Excellent written, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Sound computer literacy skills.

 
 
You will be responsible for:

• People Management - Implement and maintain clear lines of accountabilities of the project site team.  Principles of supervision, training, performance evaluation and professional development
• Operations and Project Management - Review construction planning and monitor progress to ensure it is on schedule and within quality, time and cost estimates.  Liaise with client representatives over site-based issues, working towards time efficient resolutions.
•  Strategy - Build and sustain relationships with clients, partners, suppliers, consultants, regulators and key community stakeholders to enhance our reputation and optimise our access to work opportunities
• Safety Management, Leadership and Conduct - Maintain compliance with UON and Client WHSE policies, procedures and systems, and support all team members in their performance
• Demonstrated safe delivery of work and commitment to ongoing safety improvement.
• Maintain personal accountability and hold a sound knowledge of UON’s Business Management System including all policies and procedures
