You'd join a unionized aerospace and defence shop supporting long-cycle maintenance programs — the kind of environment where aircraft stay in the shop for 100+ days at a time, so you're seeing full A to E check packages through from start to finish rather than rushing quick turnarounds.
Pay is set under a collective agreement that recognizes your relevant experience (up to seven years), so you're not stuck relying on annual negotiations to see your pay move. You'll also be part of a genuine crew structure — apprentices, unlicensed AMEs, senior engineers, crew leads and a supervisor — built for both learning and leading.

What You'll Be Doing
Complete maintenance, repair, and overhaul work on aircraft avionics systems within your certification scope
Work through full A to E check packages on large aircraft, seeing major maintenance programs through from start to finish
Document your work to regulatory and internal quality standards so aircraft return to service safely and on schedule
Coach and mentor apprentices and junior technicians as you build seniority
Collaborate within a structured, ten-person crew alongside senior engineers, crew leads, and a supervisor
