Forklift Operator – Sit-Down Forklift

Pay Rate: $19.00/hour
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent

About the Role We are currently hiring Forklift Operators to join the team of one of our largest and most important clients in the automotive manufacturing industry.

This is a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where safety, efficiency, and attention to detail are essential. As a Forklift Operator, you will play an important role in keeping materials and automotive parts moving efficiently throughout the facility to support ongoing production operations.

What You'll Be Doing

• Operating sit-down counterbalance forklifts and/or reach trucks to move, stage, and transport automotive parts and materials throughout the facility
• Loading and unloading trailers and containers
• Pulling and delivering parts to designated line-side or warehouse locations
• Performing pre-shift equipment inspections and completing required documentation
• Maintaining accurate inventory counts and ensuring proper labeling and placement of materials
• Working safely in a high-traffic warehouse and production-support environment
• Following all company safety protocols, including PPE requirements

What You'll Need

• Prior forklift operating experience required (sit-down counterbalance; reach truck experience is a plus)
• Current forklift certification or the ability to obtain on-site certification
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing/logistics environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
• Ability to stand, walk, and operate equipment for the duration of a shift
• Reliable attendance and punctuality, as this role supports an active production environment
• Experience in automotive, warehouse, or logistics environments is preferred
