OTR Company Driver — Home Terminal: Eagan, MN
Why get back in the truck for anyone who calls? The drivers who stick around aren't chasing the next load board post — they're running steady lanes, driving equipment that's actually maintained, and getting paid for the parts of the job that other carriers treat as an afterthought.
This is a company driver seat with a real home terminal, a defined OTR lane structure, and a carrier that treats predictability as part of the pay package. You're not guessing what next week looks like, and you're not fighting for reimbursement on time that was never your fault to begin with.
Why This Opportunity Is Different
Most OTR postings sell "great miles" and leave the rest vague. Here, the lanes are defined across a consistent multi-state footprint, the equipment is late-model, and the extra-pay categories — layovers, breakdowns, detention, and stops — are built into the pay structure rather than treated as exceptions you have to fight for.
What You'll Be Doing
- Run over-the-road routes across a defined multi-state footprint, delivering freight safely and on schedule
- Operate and maintain late-model Peterbilt equipment, including thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Stay compliant with DOT/FMCSA hours-of-service rules while managing your own trip planning on the road
- Communicate proactively with dispatch on route status, delays, layovers, or breakdowns as they come up
What We're Looking For - Minimum 23 years of age
- At least one year of OTR Class A driving experience within the last three years, or six months of continuous OTR experience with a clean PSP and MVR
- A current DOT medical card and long form
- A clear record in the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse, with no open violations
- A professional, safety-minded approach to the road and to the people you work with
Compensation & Work Model $0.55 CPM on all miles, loaded and empty, with average weekly pay.
Additional pay for layovers, breakdowns, detention, and stops. Full benefits package including medical coverage, free dental insurance, vacation time, 401(k), and Short-Term and Long-Term Disability coverage. This is an over-the-road position — expect extended time away from home while running assigned lanes.
Location & Travel Home terminal in Eagan, MN, running OTR lanes across Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Oklahoma, Texas, Kentucky, Tennessee, North Carolina, and Georgia.
