Accounting Support Specialist – Manufacturing Finance Team ($25–$27/hr)

If you're the kind of person who gets genuine satisfaction from a clean reconciliation or a trial balance that ties out on the first pass, this role was built with you in mind. You'll be handling daily transaction processing, journal entries, general ledger work, and reporting across multiple legal entities — real full-cycle accounting, not a single repetitive task.

This is also a chance to build breadth fast. Beyond the day-to-day, you'll get exposure to monthly reporting, forecasting, government remittances, and both annual and government audit support — the kind of experience that rounds out an accounting career rather than narrowing it.

You'll be joining an established manufacturing organization where your accuracy and organization are genuinely visible to leadership, working in direct partnership with the Controller rather than in a back-office silo.

What You'll Be Doing

• Processing and recording daily financial transactions accurately and on time
• Posting journal entries, reconciling accounts, and preparing trial balances across multiple legal entities
• Maintaining general ledgers and preparing financial reports
• Preparing and processing invoices, payments, and expense reports
• Reconciling bank statements and resolving discrepancies directly with the bank
• Supporting the Controller with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Assisting with monthly financial reporting, forecasting, and government remittances
• Supporting annual and government audit processes with documentation and data
• Collaborating cross-functionally to ensure accurate financial reporting

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related financial role
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with older versions of Sage accounting software is a strong asset

Compensation
$25.00–$27.00 per hour.
