Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert respiratory therapy care as part of a multidisciplinary Air Medical Crew during aeromedical patient transports
- Conduct rapid response assessments and interventions for critically ill or injured patients across all age categories
- Collaborate with RN and ACP crew members and consult with OLMC Physicians to ensure safe, high-quality transport
- Manage airway, ventilation, and oxygenation for patients in flight, including those requiring advanced respiratory support
- Support safe interfacility transfers, often from remote communities to tertiary care facilities
- Maintain and operate aeromedical respiratory equipment per organizational safety and clinical standards
- Participate in annual recurrent training and simulation exercises at a dedicated medical training facility
- Maintain current licensure and certifications (professional licensing costs reimbursed annually)

Certifications: - BLS (required)
- ACLS (required)
- PALS (asset)
- NRP (asset)
- Indigenous cultural awareness training (asset)
Experience: - Minimum 2 years in intensive/critical care, emergency care, or aeromedicine (preferred)
- Current registration in good standing with home Province/Territory

- Medical transport experience is a strong asset
Technical Skills: - Advanced airway management and ventilator management in high-acuity settings
- Competency operating aeromedical and portable respiratory equipment
- Strong clinical decision-making in time-sensitive, resource-limited environments
