We're looking for an experienced Assistant Final Mile Manager to help lead daily operations at our Carson, CA terminal. You'll partner with leadership to drive safety, service, operational excellence, and team performance while ensuring every delivery reflects our commitment to a five-star customer experience.

What You'll Be Doing - Support daily final-mile delivery and warehouse operations.
- Lead, coach, mentor, and develop warehouse associates and delivery teams.
- Recruit, manage, and build strong partnerships with independent contractors.
- Monitor KPIs and implement continuous operational improvements.
- Oversee inbound and outbound operations including staging, repairs, returns, claims, and delivery readiness.
- Ensure on-time delivery performance while minimizing damages and service failures.
- Conduct field ride-alongs to coach delivery teams and maintain customer satisfaction.
- Monitor active routes and proactively resolve delivery issues.
- Create labor schedules that support operational demand.
- Maintain safety, compliance, and operational consistency.
- Help achieve budget and financial performance goals.
- Foster a culture centered around accountability, teamwork, and customer service.
What We're Looking For - Minimum 5 years of Final Mile/Last Mile delivery experience.
- 3–5 years of leadership experience in transportation, logistics, or distribution.
- Furniture delivery experience strongly preferred.
- Experience managing and recruiting independent contractors.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills.
- Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field preferred.
Compensation & Work Model Salary: $72,000–$75,000 annually

Location Carson, California This is an onsite leadership position supporting warehouse and final-mile delivery operations. Flexibility for occasional extended hours or weekends during peak operational periods is expected.
