Salary: $22/hr
Shift Times: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST
Shift Dates: May 23 & 24, 2026

We are looking for Temp Waste Management Staff to assist with a Weekend Event in Orono, ON! This position requires a commitment to ensuring the event area remains clean and presentable throughout the duration of both shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of event grounds throughout both shifts
- Pick up trash and dispose of filled garbage bags into dumpsters
- Place fresh garbage bags into garbage bins
- Represent the event staff with pride and follow all event protocols and rules
Requirements Education No formal education requirements specified.
Certifications No specific certifications required.
Experience No prior experience required.
Candidates with a strong work ethic and reliability are encouraged to apply.
Must have own vehicle. Technical Skills No technical skills required.
Must be physically capable of sustained outdoor activity, including prolonged standing and walking.
Candidate Fit The ideal candidate is reliable, physically capable of sustained outdoor work, and takes pride in contributing to a world-class event experience. You are punctual, a self-starter, and comfortable working in variable weather conditions.
You have your own vehicle. You communicate effectively with staff and patrons, proactively address issues as they arise, and bring strong attention to detail and integrity to everything you do.
Interview Process - Stage 1: Initial contact & screening by TAPP Workforce Solutions (20 to 30 minutes)
- Stage 2: Onboarding Process Completion (Required for payroll purposes)
- Stage 3: Introduction to Client and Onsite HR Manager.
