Overview
We are supporting hospitals and healthcare facilities across BC who require experienced Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses to join their teams on contract assignments. These roles are ideal for nurses who are adaptable, clinically confident, and committed to delivering safe, high-quality patient care while supporting communities with critical staffing needs.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide hands-on, patient-centered care within acute, medical-surgical, emergency, long-term care, or specialty units, depending on experience and assignment
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with clinical standards and organizational policies
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold professional practice standards
• Support patient advocacy, safety, and continuity of care throughout the care journey
• Contribute to a respectful, team-oriented, and patient-focused environment
Must-Have Qualifications
• Active and in-good-standing BCCNM license (RN or LPN)
• Minimum 1 year of recent, relevant clinical experience in assigned practice area (2+ years strongly preferred for acute and specialty units)
• Current BLS/CPR (ACLS preferred for RNs working in higher acuity)
• Ability to adapt quickly in new clinical settings and work independently with sound clinical judgment
• Willingness to complete standard compliance documentation (immunizations, background checks, certifications)
