Physiotherapy Aide – Casual (On-Call)

Locations: Ten Panther Sports Medicine clinics across Calgary
Schedule: As-needed coverage between 7am–7pm
Rate of Pay: $18/hour
Hours: No guaranteed weekly hours; shifts assigned based on clinic needs

About the Role Panther Sports Medicine is hiring flexible and reliable Casual (On-Call) Physiotherapy Aides to provide coverage across multiple clinic locations in Calgary. This position is perfect for candidates seeking flexible hours or looking to gain experience in a rehabilitation setting. Shifts are offered based on clinic demand, including vacation coverage, sick calls, and increased patient volume.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist physiotherapists with treatment setup (hot packs, electrical modalities, etc.)
• Clean and prepare treatment beds between clients
• Change pillowcases and maintain treatment area cleanliness
• Perform laundry and general upkeep throughout the shift
• Maintain an organized, efficient clinic environment
• Support clinic flow and anticipate staff and patient needs
• Stand for the duration of the shift and perform repetitive physical tasks

Qualifications & Ideal Attributes

• Positive, professional, and team-focused attitude
• Strong communication skills and dependability
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining cleanliness and organization
• Comfortable working in busy clinical environments
• Physically capable of standing and moving throughout the shift
• Interest in health care or rehabilitation is an asset
• Willingness to travel to different clinic locations as needed
• Comfortable using email and Microsoft Teams
