Compensation: $85,000 - $110,000 per year + performance bonus

Responsibilities': Lead by Doing
Design and oversee structural systems for buildings, with a strong focus on concrete and steel structures.
Apply hands-on design expertise to complex projects, ensuring technical precision and compliance with client requirements.
Leverage experience with modular and wood structures as an added advantage.
Grow the Business
Actively build and maintain relationships with government agencies, developers, and commercial clients.
Secure new contracts and expand the project pipeline.
Serve as the trusted point of contact, delivering tailored solutions that meet client needs.
Drive Projects Forward
Manage projects from concept through completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
Ensure compliance with Florida codes, industry standards, and client expectations.
Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure timely, successful delivery.
Build a department
Establish standards, workflows, and best practices for the structural engineering division.
Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of engineers and technical staff.
Set departmental goals and KPIs to ensure quality, client satisfaction, and profitability.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Structural Engineering (Master's preferred).
Florida Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required.
7+ years of structural engineering experience, with concrete and steel design expertise.
Experience with modular and wood structures is a plus.
Demonstrated success in business development and client acquisition.
Hands-on design experience, not just management.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and structural design software.
Strong knowledge of Florida building codes and regulatory standards.
Excellent leadership, communication, and client management skills.
