Compensation: $85,000 - $110,000 per annum + performance bonuses

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer who will play a pivotal role in shaping and expanding our mechanical engineering design department. What you'll do hands-on design
Lead and contribute directly to the design of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and sustainable energy systems.
Deliver precise, high-quality designs from concept through completion, meeting client specifications and industry standards.
Tackle complex projects with both creativity and technical expertise.
Client development
Build strong, lasting relationships with government agencies, property developers, and commercial clients.
Serve as the primary point of contact, ensuring satisfaction while delivering innovative, client-focused solutions.
Drive new business opportunities to fuel department growth.
Project leadership
Oversee full project lifecycles, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Lead multidisciplinary project teams, coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
Ensure all designs meet regulatory requirements, industry codes, and client expectations.
Department building & mentorship
Establish and grow the mechanical engineering department, setting standards and best practices.
Recruit, train, and mentor engineers and technical staff.
Collaborate across departments to deliver fully integrated, innovative solutions.
Requirements:
Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred).
Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Florida required. Additional U.S. registrations are a plus.
7+ years of hands-on mechanical design experience (not just management).
Proven track record in business development and client acquisition.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software.
Strong knowledge of Florida building codes, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
