Business Development Representative (BDR) - Tampa, FL
Contract-to-Hire | Healthcare SaaS | $43K base + commission (OTE $55K-$60K year 1)

What you'll do
- Prospect, qualify, and nurture inbound/outbound leads.
- Run 70-80 quality calls per day (plus targeted emails/social touches).
- Clearly communicate our value proposition to clinical & operations leaders.
- Book discovery meetings and partner tightly with AEs through handoff.
- Maintain accurate pipeline and activities in HubSpot/Salesforce (and tools like Zoom, DocuSign, Outreach).
- Share feedback to continually improve messaging, playbooks, and process.
- Hit activity and opportunity-creation targets that lead to Closed-Won outcomes.
What you bring - Hunger > tenure: door-to-door, real estate, insurance, education, retail, or prior BDR experience all translate.
- Confident phone presence; strong listening & objection handling.
- Coachable, competitive, and resilient; thrives in a collaborative, in-office environment.
- Organized and proactive with time and follow-ups; comfortable with KPIs.
- Bonus: familiarity with consultative selling and modern sales tech.
Compensation & growth - Contract-to-hire: $43,000 base (hourly equivalent during contract).
- OTE: $55K-$60K average in year 1 (commission eligibility begins during ramp; most earnings accelerate post-conversion).
- Career path: frequent internal promotions from BDR → AE; hands-on leadership committed to development.
- Paid training: full-time hours during onboarding.
Schedule & location - On-site | Tampa, FL (downtown-adjacent)
- Monday-Friday, 8:00-5:00 (some flexibility for cross-time-zone collaboration).
- Role involves prolonged computer use and frequent video meetings.
