Are you highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working on the production floor? We’re hiring a Production Planning Administrator in Columbia, SC. In this role, you’ll be the vital link between production lines and the supply chain, helping ensure smooth operations and continuous workflow.

This is a full-time opportunity with competitive pay at $19/hr, plus benefits.
Location: Columbia, SC.
 
Shift: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm

What You’ll Do As the Production Planning Administrator, you’ll support production efficiency and communication across multiple departments.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Serving as the main point of contact for production leads, operations, stockroom, and receiving.
• Acting as the “eyes and ears” of the production line, sharing critical updates with Planning and Scheduling teams.
• Managing work orders — releasing, printing, and posting as needed.
• Reporting inventory at the MDI Board, tracking trends, and addressing shortages.
• Collaborating across teams to maintain smooth production flow.

What We’re Looking For We’re seeking a candidate who has:

• 2+ years of related experience in production, planning, or a similar role.
• The ability to read and follow instructions, memos, and documentation.
• Strong communication skills for working with individuals and small groups.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
• A collaborative attitude and a willingness to work as part of a team.
