Tapp Workforce Solutions is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our client’s patient-centered outpatient care team. Under the supervision of physicians and the clinic supervisor/manager, you will play a vital role in supporting clinical operations, enhancing patient experience, and ensuring smooth day-to-day workflow.
This position is ideal for a skilled medical professional who thrives in a high-volume, fast-paced setting and is passionate about contributing to a collaborative, quality-driven healthcare environment.

• $19.15 - $24.90 / hour
• $5000 Bonus
• Full time
• Shifts vary

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians during patient examinations and treatments
• Room patients and collect detailed medical information
• Measure and document vital signs, including temperature, pulse, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, pain level, height, and weight
• Record accurate and timely information into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
• Collect and prepare lab specimens in accordance with clinical protocols
• Ensure HIPAA and OSHA compliance during all interactions
• Actively serve as a mentor and trainer for newly hired Medical Assistants
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a compassionate, patient-first approach
• Work effectively as part of a team to ensure efficiency and continuity of care

Qualifications:
High School Diploma, GED, Certificate of Attendance/Completion, or equivalent required
Must hold at least one of the following (active and in good standing):

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA)
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA – Florida only)
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN – Florida only)
• Emergency Medical Technician (EMT – Florida only)
• Paramedic
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• For Primary Care Practices, EKG and Phlebotomy certifications are required for CNAs
