Job Title: Accounts Payable Coordinator
Location: Burlington, ON (Hybrid – 4 days in office)
Reports to: Accounting Manager

The Opportunity
We’re hiring an Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our client’s dynamic finance department. This position is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, managing payment runs, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with internal controls.

Key Responsibilities
- Review and verify invoices and supporting documents
- Accurately enter vendor invoices into the accounting system
- Process payments via cheque, EFT, or wire transfer
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain up-to-date vendor records and ensure compliance with policies
- Support month-end closing tasks related to AP
- Communicate with vendors regarding payment status and inquiries
- Assist with year-end reporting and audits as needed
Qualifications - 1–2 years of Accounts Payable or general accounting experience (including co-op/internships)
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Good communication skills for vendor relations
- Experience using accounting software and MS Excel
- Familiarity with the logistics or freight industry is an asset
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a deadline-driven environment
