Your Role
As a Project Manager, you will be at the forefront of delivering excellence, ensuring your projects not only meet but exceed client expectations. You will be joining our team of experts and will get the opportunity to demonstrate your experience managing design and construction projects. Your ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously will be key in driving these programs to success, from identifying and addressing gaps to controlling costs and ensuring clear, effective communication.
Responsibilities

• Lead building and facilities projects in various sectors including education, healthcare, municipal, infrastructure, and corporate offices.
• Develop strong client relationships and act as the client’s single point of contact throughout the project to achieve the client’s goals and objectives.
• Build trust with your clients, so they rely on your knowledge, skills, and expertise to achieve their business goals and objectives.
• Work on a variety of building projects of varying size and scope.
• Ensure that client expectations and satisfaction are met or exceeded on all projects and the client’s best interests are represented with respect to contractual and technical issues.
• Lead project teams.
• Provide leadership of all elements of the project delivery.
• Chair project and site meetings, find resolution to issues and coordinate between multiple stakeholders.
• Regularly report on project status.
• Provide leadership and mentorship of junior project resources.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager, representing owners to multiple stakeholders in the delivery of projects of varying size and scope in a range of sectors, particularly buildings and facilities.
• Experience in public sector projects is an asset.
• A bachelor's degree, or higher degree, or technical diploma in engineering, architecture, planning, project management, or construction management (or an equivalent combination of academic and practical experience).
• Strong knowledge of various types of construction methodologies, project management models, and financial management.
• Effective leadership and organizational skills with the ability to effectively influence others and successfully resolve a variety of client, project, and technical issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Strong computer skills, including a working knowledge of scheduling (MS Project), word processing (Word), and spreadsheet (Excel) software applications.
• PMP designation an asset.
