Citrus Recruit are excited to be recruiting exclusively on behalf of a well-established employer who are looking for a Business Development Manager, to join their expanding team.

You will be working alongside a friendly office and supporting the growth of a new laser cutting/welding & cleaning product, which they have exclusive rights to sell within the UK.
  
We’re looking for someone who has experience within a Business Development with proven product knowledge within welding or Laser cutting / cleaning machinery or similar technologies.

You will have a lot of opportunity to create and map your own sales strategy, with full responsibility of the full 360 sales cycle.  
  
Responsibilities & day to day duties
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Build a sales pipeline for a new innovation product - Laser Welding/ Cleaning Machinery.
• Meetings with the customer base (industrial market, automotive, medical) in the UK and Europe.
• Develop, maintain, and execute a territory plan- Participating with the engineering team day by day in technical meetings to understand all possibilities and machine technology.
• Lead generation and qualification, handling all inbound customer enquiries and creating quotations
• Negotiate and close orders from your sales activity.
• Attend networking events, and customer meetings, providing product demonstrations.
• Working on CRM, Subject, SAP, and Excel.

Skills & experience required.

• Sales/ Business Development experience within Laser cutting/Welding, or Similar welding products or Engineering
• Proven track record of bringing on new business and growing accounts
• Full driving license and happy to travel
