Citrus Recruit are excited to be working with a well-known brand to recruit for a Graduate Energy Consultant.
You'll play a key role in delivering complex projects to strict deadlines, working collaboratively across teams, communicating confidently with stakeholders, and continually developing your technical expertise within the fast‑moving UK energy sector.
This is a varied, customer-facing role where you'll work closely with clients, visit sites, analyse energy data and provide practical recommendations that help organisations improve their energy efficiency and sustainability.
This role offers a clear progression structure into an Energy Consultant role.
Responsibilities & day to day duties
As a Graduate Energy Consultant you will be responsible for:
- Provide compliance and renewable‑energy consultancy support across client projects, including audits, assessments and accreditation management.
- Scope, plan and deliver technical work packages, gathering information both onsite and remotely.
- Produce clear reports, feasibility studies and compliance documentation, presenting findings confidently to stakeholders.
- Manage applications and amendments for key energy schemes.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and wider technical teams to ensure high‑quality, timely project delivery.
- Build strong client relationships, identifying additional opportunities and supporting issue resolution throughout each project.
- Maintain accurate records, quality standards and performance tracking across all contract activity.
- Support sales and marketing through proposal input, technical insights and occasional content creation.
Skills & experience required - Degree (or equivalent experience) in energy, engineering or environmental subjects, with strong technical understanding of energy projects.
- Proven experience delivering projects to strict deadlines and multiple stakeholders.
- Strong analytical capability with solid knowledge of the UK energy sector.
- Excellent organisation, administration and communication skills, including confident writing and presenting.
- Intermediate IT skills (Excel, Word, CRM) and willingness to continually deepen technical expertise.
- Interest in energy efficiency, sustainability and wider environmental impacts.
- Consistent delivery to agreed standards, deadlines and quality expectations.
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
Benefits - Salary up to £28,000
- Hybrid opportunity - 2 days per week in the office.
- 37 hours per week, 08.45 - 17.15 Monday to Thursday. 08.45 - 16.15 Friday
